About Michigan Nanny Solutions
Michigan Nanny Solutions has been the best resource for professional nannies and families in West Michigan since March of 2013. First operating as Michigan Nanny Authority (2013 to 2022), we spent 10 years building relationships and earning the trust of our local community to fully become Michigan’s Authority on the nanny industry. With that foundation of trust and reputation, we are excited to serve our community in 2023 and beyond as Michigan Nanny Solutions!
Michigan Nanny Solutions’ most popular offering is our Nanny Placement Service, which provides families with the peace of mind that they will only interview nanny candidates that have been fully screened, interviewed, and oriented by Michigan Nanny Solutions. We have created a thorough and streamlined process through which we are able to introduce families to the most experienced, best educated, and most qualified nannies in West Michigan. Families are empowered to make a hiring decision based on which nanny candidate they like, trust, and respect the most, and each placement is backed by a 90-day Happy Nanny/Happy Family Replacement Guarantee.
We also support nannies and families by offering one-on-one consulting in any area of the nanny industry and nanny employment. We desire to support all area nannies and families as they navigate the delicate employee/employer relationship, and work hard to educate about and advocate for our community’s nannies so that every nanny and family we speak to is empowered to grow and thrive in their employment relationships.
We take pride in our approach to finding the right fit for the family and for the nanny, and provide ongoing support throughout the nanny’s employment with the family. We know that the success of our business is solely reliant upon the success of our nanny placement matches, and we are personally and professionally invested in each nanny and family that we have the pleasure of working with. We are honored to have such a key role in the success of each nanny/family relationship.
Our Vision
To be the final solution for nannies and the families who employ nannies in Michigan. We advocate for all nannies in Michigan, and do so by educating both nannies and families on the roles, legalities, and best practices of being or hiring a nanny.
We hope to end unfair wages, illegal pay practices, and unrealistic expectations for nannies. We hope to empower nannies to have a successful career by encouraging positive character development, unwavering confidentiality, and excellent work ethic.
By offering personalized nanny placement services and one-on-one consulting services intended to create long-lasting employer/employee relationships, we encourage and empower nannies and families to conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, integrity, and fairness.
Meet Jaynie
Michigan Nanny Solutions, started in 2013, is owned and operated by Jaynie Fawley. As a professional nanny herself, Jaynie saw a need in the community for someone who could establish realistic expectations and standards for what the nanny job and the nanny/parent relationship should look like, and wanted to be able to provide education, advocacy, and empowerment to the local nanny industry. Michigan Nanny Solutions exists today to be that resource for nannies and families.
Jaynie is a Professional Career Nanny and Certified Newborn Care Specialist with 16 years of experience supporting families in Kalamazoo. She has spent the past 11 years working as a nanny with the same amazing family, now doing the before and after school shift with the two girls she helped raise from birth. She knows firsthand how life-changing it can be to have a nanny who loves and is fully invested in your family long-term, and she works hard to recreate this magic with every nanny and family she represents.
In addition to being Michigan’s authority on the nanny industry, Jaynie is currently serving the Kalamazoo community as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Kalamazoo Country Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Council (KCAN), a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in Kalamazoo County. She also serves on the Safe Sleep Strategy Committee and Frontline Workers Committee for Cradle Kalamazoo, a non-profit organization whose mission is to end infant mortality due to unsafe sleep in Kalamazoo.
