Meet Jaynie
Michigan Nanny Solutions, founded in 2013, is owned and operated by Jaynie Fawley. As a professional career nanny, Jaynie recognized a need in the community for someone who could establish realistic expectations and standards for what the nanny job and the nanny/parent relationship should look like. She decided to help meet this need by providing education, advocacy, and empowerment to every family and nanny in her community.
Michigan Nanny Solutions exists today to fulfill Jaynie’s dream of being the best professional resource for Nannies and Families in Michigan!
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Jaynie is a Professional Career Nanny with 18 years of experience nannying for families in & around Kalamazoo. She has spent the past 14 years working as a nanny with the same amazing family and their two girls–now 14 and 12–that she helped raise from birth. Jaynie knows firsthand how life-changing it is to have a nanny who loves and is fully invested in your family long-term, and she works hard to recreate this magic with every nanny and family she represents. Of all the titles Jaynie holds, being her nanny kids’ “NayNay” is the one she cherishes most!
In addition to being a professional nanny and a nanny agency owner, Jaynie is a CACHE-Certified Elite Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, and New Parent Educator. She provides short-term overnight newborn care and holistic support for postpartum families through her second business, Easy Beginnings Newborn Care, which she founded in 2019.
GIVING BACK
Jaynie serves children and families in the Kalamazoo community as a founding committee member of the Kalamazoo Children’s Alliance (part of the Community Healing Center), which is dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect in Kalamazoo County by providing Safe Sleep education, Period of PURPLE Crying education, Mandated Reporter trainings, and child sex abuse prevention through the school-based “Kids Are Special” program.
Jaynie also serves on the Safe Sleep Strategy Committee and Frontline Workers Committee for Cradle Kalamazoo, a non-profit organization whose mission is to end infant mortality due to unsafe sleep in Kalamazoo.
In 2024, Jaynie decided to invest in the next generation of professional nannies by partnering with Safe Sitter to provide babysitting training classes for her local community. Safe Sitter is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing elementary and middle-school aged children with the life and safety skills they need for when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Jaynie and a co-instructor (one of her former nannies!) teach a one-or-two day Safe Sitter class in various locations in Kalamazoo throughout the year.
